A GPX route can never replace a professional guide. If you don’t know the area then book a professional guide that knows the possible dangers of the area.
For wintersporters: never go off piste or in to the backcountry without avalanche safety gear and knowledge based on avalanche trainings. In addition hire a guide that is skilled to identify the potential dangers in the area.
